Good morning from NYC! my name is Harold, I’m new to the business and am interested in owning my first laundromat. I managed to find 1 or 2 locations I’m interested in, but the problem with the first location is that a broker is handling the deal, so I’m hesitant to negotiate with a professional, from what I was told a broker is only interested in getting the deal closed regardless of if it’s a good or bad deal for you. The other location is in NJ, traveling won’t be a problem, the area the laundromat is located is not a friendly neighborhood, so I def want to avoid having to deal with vandalism, robberies, etc. I also need help finding a good/honest broker to help me look for a decent deal, not just one that wants to make it’s commission and leave.
