Long time YouTube Subscriber turned new member of this community.
First off, Jordan, thank you for creating this community and the wealth of knowledge you bring to your YouTube viewers! I learnt/relearnt/validated a lot of information about Laundromats thanks to your channel and website.
I’m based in Virginia near Washington DC, and I’m interested in diversifying my income streams. I eventually hope to get away from my 9-5 Corporate job and own multiple laundromats. I’ve been researching for the last 2 years, and now ready to take the plunge.
I’m looking to acquire existing businesses (we all know this is super hard), and also open to building out a new store. I also researched franchises, but I’m coming to a conclusion that it’s probably not good for me in the long run.
One of the many things that is top of mind for me is which brand to go with for equipment if I build/renovate with new equipment. Every distributor talks about why their product is the best, but I haven’t yet come across a comprehensive comparison. if any of you are aware of that and I missed it please point me in that direction, or chime in here.
