I’ve wondered the same thing. I think it has to do with how both games treat their players. TF2 has been around for so long that it’s created a culture of creativity and loyalty. Players feel like they have a say in the game’s direction, thanks to modding and community-generated content. On the other hand, Overwatch 2 seems more controlled by its developers, with less room for fans to make it their own.
