I’ve just started getting into fitness, and I’m thinking about setting up a small home gym to save on time and gym memberships. I don’t need anything too fancy, but I’d like to have the basics to cover both strength and cardio training. Since I’m a beginner, I’m not sure what equipment is essential and what’s just extra. Should I start with weights, a bench, or something like a treadmill? And does anyone know a reliable place to buy this stuff without breaking the bank?

Setting up a home gym as a beginner is such a great idea! When I first started, I kept it simple and focused on versatile equipment that wouldn’t overwhelm me or eat up too much space. A good starting point would be an adjustable bench, some dumbbells, and resistance bands. If you’re looking for a reliable place to shop, I highly recommend checking out https://fitnessreality.org/ They specialize in home gym setups and have a range of beginner-friendly options. For example, I bought an adjustable bench from their site, and it’s been perfect for everything from chest presses to incline core exercises. It’s sturdy, easy to adjust, and doesn’t take up a ton of room. Plus, they provide detailed specs and honest reviews, so you can make an informed choice even if you’re new to fitness. As for cardio, you could start with something simple like a jump rope or a foldable rowing machine—they have great options for those too. Take your time exploring their site; it’s a fantastic resource for anyone building a home gym from scratch.
