Hi everyone! I have a question about how to properly measure the shape of my breasts so that I can then properly fit my bras. I’ve heard it’s important, but the specific methods aren’t very clear. Does anyone have any advice or personal experience? For example, is there any special way to hold a centimeter tape or something like that? I would be grateful for help!
October 6, 2024 at 8:51 am #30859I completely understand your concern. Many girls wonder, what breast shape do I have? The question of how to measure the right breast shape really matters, especially when it comes to choosing the right bra. I myself faced this problem when I decided to update my closet, and here is what I can advise you. The first thing to do is to choose the right time and environment for measurements. I, for example, prefer to do it in the morning when my breasts are in their natural state. It’s important that you’re wearing a minimum amount of clothing – it’s best if you’re wearing a regular bra with no extra bulk. Start by measuring the girth under your breasts. To do this, wrap a centimeter tape around your body just under your breasts. It should be snug but not too tight. Memorize the resulting value – this will be your base size. The next step is to measure the volume of your breasts. Again, wrap the centimeter tape around the fullest part of your chest. Make sure the tape is parallel to the floor and not stretched. The difference between these two measurements will give you your cup size. For example, if your under-breast circumference is 80 cm and your chest volume is 95 cm, a 15 cm difference corresponds to a C cup. However, as mentioned above, the shape of the breasts also makes a big difference. Some people have more rounded breasts, while others have flatter or asymmetrical breasts. I’ve noticed that my breasts resemble a “peach” shape, and bras with rounded cups suit me.

I always thought it was easy, but after reading about the different shapes and sizes, I realized it’s much more complicated than that. I wonder what surprises you’ve had when choosing bras. Good luck to everyone in their search!
