Hello everyone!
I’m an IT professional that is looking to purchase an existing self-service/unattended laundromat business to generate some additional cashflow while I still continue to work my day job. There is a lot of information to learn and I’m grateful that there are so many resources available online.
I’m confident in my ability to figure maintenance things out like plumbing, electrical, and even some machine repairs.
I haven’t seen anyone talking about central water filtration in their stores, but I do see a lot of people spending time cleaning clogged hot water line filters/screens and scraping sediment out. Is there a reason NOT to do filtering to save some maintenance?
What kind of door access systems do people use for unattended laundromats? Is there a way to deal with a customer propping the door open so you don’t have to come in to physically close the store for the day?
